The length of the master's degree in Sweden is 1 or 2 years depending on the degree and the applicant's university, during this time period. The language of study, especially in postgraduate studies, is mostly in English.

The beginning of the semester is September or January. Student insurance for this course is also free after one year. Usually universities also provide dormitories for students' residency.

Students can also work part-time and 20 hours a week. Having an IELTS academic score of at least 6.5 is required for admission in this course, although it is also possible to take a language course.
