Amelia Earhart Fellowship for Doctoral Degree

This scholarship program is made in order to honor of Amelia Earhart who was a famous pilot and Zontian. It has been founded since 1938 until now. According to the homepage, these Amelia Earhart Fellowships for Doctoral Degree will cover the financial aid of the students, including their books, tuition fees, tools and equipment for the program chosen by them. The deadline is no longer than 15 November every year. For your information, all of these expenses are funded by Zonta International Foundation. Eligibility Criteria

   Open for any nationality pursuing a PhD/doctoral degree who demonstrate a superior academic record in the field of aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering are eligible. This program is made in honor of Amelia Earhart. It is the reason why the only available program is aerospace engineering course.
   Post-doctoral research programs are not eligible for the Fellowship. Members and employees of Zonta International or the Zonta International Foundation are also not eligible to apply for the Fellowship. The program doesn’t close the opportunity of any international students who want to join. Make sure you have previous degree first.
   Current fellows may apply to renew the Fellowship for a second year and will undergo the same application and evaluation procedures as first-time applicants. Thus, the program is always available every year. If you want to expand the duration, this is should be a very good way for you.
   Applicants must be registered in a full-time PhD/doctoral program when funds are received in September and will not graduate before April 2017. This is the most important requirement that you must consider. You also need to prove the evidence of it.
